Questions & Answers

Q. How did you get started in the wedding industry or with this venue?

A. Roxanne and Luke started the venue and through a mutual friend I was recommended to them and I’ve been working at The Salty Lime ever since.

Q. What’s your favorite part of hosting weddings here?

A. Seeing the love and connections it brings. Especially with our ability to have camping. I love the next day when everyone is still enjoying each others company.

Q. How would you describe your approach to weddings? (Relaxed, hands-on, detail-focused, etc.)

A. My goal is to make sure that what is important to the couples happens and everything else is a bonus. With that being said I would say we are detail focused on what ever is a priority to the couples and relaxed on everything else.

A Dream Team

Q. Can you tell me a bit about the team we’d be working with?  (How many is in your team and names of those that supports you on the day-of).

A. Our team consists of Roxanne and Luke (the owners), myself Isabella (venue manager), Kerry (grounds keeper), Mark (grounds keeper assistant), on day staff and bartenders (Lily, Ben, Lilly, Lillian, Bronte, Chloe)

 Q. What’s one of the most memorable weddings you’ve hosted here, and why?

A. Honestly I can’t answer this as I can’t choose just one. We have amazing couples who get married with us. I truly believe that we have great people around us. So instead I’ll tell you about 2 weddings coming up that I’m extremely excited for. We have 2 weddings called vendor packages and in this we have design these couples entire day. They know the colours and a rough style but that’s it and we as vendors have chosen everything else. So I’m really excited for them to see what we have come up with.

Q. What do you think sets your venue apart from others?

A. The fact that we truely care. It’s a but cheesy but we really do. We could change our approach and make a lot more money but taking more back to back weddings. However we care that our couple feel at home at our venue, that they don’t feel like they have a ticking clock to get in and out. We want them to feel at home, feel welcomed and to truly enjoy and take it all in.

Your Day, Your Way

Looking for an all-inclusive, boutique wedding venue filled with love, nature, and thoughtful detail? The Salty Lime Co helps you create a day that’s unmistakably yours. Q. If your venue were a person, how would you describe its personality?

A. I would describe it as a warm hug from a loved one. Beautiful and warm.

Q. Are there any special touches or traditions that couples often take advantage of here?

A. Our locks on our jetty. We encourage our couples to have a lock engraved and to hang it on the jetty so that they can return later and be reminded of their day.

A Short Stroll from Ceremony Hill to The Salty Lime Co

Just a short walk from Ceremony Hill, guests will find the venue itself, perched near a whimsical dam. As the sun begins to set, this serene setting transforms—making the jetty and surrounding water the perfect place for golden-hour wedding photos that capture the magic of your day.

Q. How do you support couples who are feeling overwhelmed or unsure during the planning process?

A. We answer every question possible. Information is key. If they know you have the answer or solution to all there problems they can feel confident that we will make everything go perfectly.

Q. What do past couples say about working with you?  (E.g what is a pattern of great feedback you get from your couples!)

A. That they felt relaxed on their wedding day. They knew that everything was handled and they could just enjoy themselves.

Q. What kind of weddings do you believe this venue is best suited for?

A. Aesthetically we are described as coastal and rustic. But in regards to the couples we suit I would say good people with relaxed vibes.
